His early career began as General Counsel for four years at prestigious multinational companies in the food, aviation, maritime transport, infrastructure, and technology industries. In these roles, Andrés advised on corporate governance, consumer law, transactional law, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and commercial litigation.
Andrés holds an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London, graduating with merit, a Postgraduate Diploma in Commercial Law from The Andes University, a J.D. from The Andes University, and is a certified Compliance Officer in Colombia.

Andrés Gallego is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with over ten years of experience advising U.S. and international clients on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), data privacy, securities, consumer law, and contract negotiation. Bilingual in Spanish and English, Andrés has a proven track record in cross-border transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Before joining Kamps Legal, Andrés served as a Senior Lawyer at leading Colombian top-tier law firms, where he structured and negotiated multiple M&A transactions, managed corporate incorporations and liquidations, represented clients in complex commercial arbitrations, and developed and implemented compliance and anti–money laundering (AML) programs.
